On Team Monica? Pope wants you to put it on your chest

04.29.10 | 09:58 am

Monica Pope is almost as well known for her cheekily colorful word T-shirts as she is for her commitment to healthy, locally-grown food. The Pope is often on camera sporting the tees with "t'afia" or "eat local" across the front.

Now Houston fans can model Monica's low-key, playful style, with Pope's line of organic cotton tees for men and women available at her Midtown Farmers' Market and at hyper-local Heights boutique Hello Lucky. The tees cost $28 each.

Wear your attitude on your sleeve, er, chest, with "cranky" and "fast, easy & cheap" or indulge in some foodie puns with versions that read "chopped liver," "emotional corn" and "silence of the yams."

We're still waiting on one the says "Suck it, Marcus."
