Madonna to celebrate her smashing Super Bowl success in H-Town

Following a spectacular Super Bowl halftime performance, Madonna has announced a world tour starting in May 2012 in support of her 12th studio album, MDNA. And Houston's made the cut.

This marks Madonna's ninth world tour and it comes more than three years after the record-breaking Sticky & Sweet Tour. This time around, the 53-year-old pop culture icon plays 25 dates throughout the Middle East and Europe and 25 more across North America, as well as dates in South American and Australia.

Included on the list are two Texas stops: Oct. 24 at the Toyota Center and Oct. 20 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Fan club tickets and VIP packages for both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 21. For general admission, tickets sales will open at 10 a.m. on Feb. 27.
