Get the hell out of Houston this summer: United offers new direct flights to cool retreats

We know what you're thinking: If our Januarys are 80 degrees, how miserable is this summer going to be?

Well you're one step closer to an escape, thanks to new direct flights from IAH to South Dakota and Wyoming. From June 7 until Aug. 27, United Express will fly daily direct between Houston and Rapid City, S.D.

And beginning June 8 and running through Aug. 27, United will fly twice-weekly direct from IAH to Jackson Hole, Wyo.

Sure, that gets you closer to historic tourist destinations like Yellowstone National Park and Mount Rushmore, but we're all about celeb stalking at the anti-Aspen. Also THIS PLACE.
