The ultimate yuck: $60,000 strippers are least of Brown Hand doc's troubles after herpes suit

Like herpes, Michael Brown is the gift that keeps on giving. And apparently one of those gifts is . . . herpes.

The former doctor and founder of the Brown Hand Center has been slapped with a lawsuit for allegedly giving an ex-girlfriend the sexually transmitted disease. According to the suit, which was filed in Manhattan under the pseudonym Chris Stevens, Brown met the plaintiff in Aspen in 2009 and began a relationship with her in July 2011.

Stevens claims after she was diagnosed with herpes in December, she discovered that Brown had been taking herpes medication for "a substantial period of time" and lied about being free of STDs, infecting her with vaginal and anal herpes when he "forcibly had anal sex" with her without the use of protection.

Stevens claims after she was diagnosed with herpes in December, she discovered that Brown had been taking herpes medication for "a substantial period of time" and lied about being free of STDs.

That's not just rude, it's a crime. In New York it's a misdemeanor for a person who knowingly has a venereal disease to engage in sexual activities.

Stevens is asking for actual and punitive damages for inflicting emotional distress. She also claims Brown constitutes a health threat to the public and alleges he might have intentionally infected her with herpes "in order to prevent her from leaving him and seeking to have relationships with others."

The lawsuit comes days after a Houston stripper known as Stacy Shey told the Houston Press that Brown was spending $60,000 per month for her company and that of three other strippers from December 2010 to August 2011.

It's the first court case against Brown since a jury acquitted him of assault on his estranged fourth wife Rachel in September 2011. Brown pled no contest to aggravated assault in 2002 for beating his third wife, Darlina, who was pregnant at the time. In 2006 he lost his medical license after testing positive for cocaine while on probation.
