Computer glitch grounds all American Airlines planes, but tweets are still flying

American Airlines has grounded all planes until at least 3 p.m. Tuesday due to a glitch in the company's computer system. Unable to check-in for flights since around 11:30 a.m., passengers are stranded across the country.

On its website, AA listed the following disclaimer: "American's reservation system is experiencing intermittent outages. We are working to resolve the issue and apologize for any inconvenience." 

Although AA's computer system is down, Twitter is working just fine. Passengers are taking out their frustration with tersely worded tweets with the hashtag #AmericanAirlines:
