The 31st Tristar Summer Spectacular Collectors Show is headed to NRG Arena this weekend with Astros Hall of Famers Craig Biggio and Jeff Bagwell leading the parade of athletes scribbling their autographs.
For the first time ever at a sports memorabilia show, fans can take a photo surrounded by the Astros legends. Tristar will have a photo booth at the event that delivers professional results on 5-by-7 photographic paper within minutes. This photo booth is a little more high-tech than the "4 photos for $1" machine at a mall arcade. Fans can then have Bigg and Bags autograph the pic.
Biggio and Bagwell will appear Sunday at the Tristar show.
Houston Astros heroes Carlos Correa, Dallas Keuchel, Alex Bregman, Yuri Gurriel, and Lance McCullers will be at the show, along with Chris Devenski, Joe Musgrove, and Will Harris.
Also appearing: Basketball scoring machine and Hall of Famer Adrian Dantley, Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverly, and Cooperstown inductee Wade Boggs. Houston Texans starting quarterback Tom Savage and draft picks Zach Cunningham, Josh Reynolds, Julie’n Davenport, D’Onta Foreman, Carlos Watkins, Teston Decoud, and Kyle Fuller will be there, too.
Like all Tristar shows, there will be dealer tables piled high with sports memorabilia for sale or swap.
Two grading services will be on hand to authenticate autographed items you already own. The show will run from 3 to 8 pm Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Saturday, and 10 am to 4 pm Sunday.
