What:  Holiday party to celebrate the exhibit, Merry Grinchmas! – The Art of Dr. Seuss.

Where: Children's Museum of Houston.

The 411: The Grinch didn't steal Christmas this year, but the big green one was the center of attention at a holiday party for the museum's donors and friends. More than 180 guests of all ages also met Santa, dined on delectables from Niko Niko's and decorated gingerbread cookies. The exhibit exploring author Theodor Seuss Geisel’s life and unique artistic vision remains on display through Feb. 23.

Who:  Lisa and Michael Holthouse, whose Holthouse Foundation sponsors the exhibit, along with co-sponsor Off The Wall Gallery's Mimi Sperber Wasserberg. Also on hand for the fun were Dimitri and Laura Fetokakis, Children's Museum director Tammie Kahn and art curator Bob Chase, Pamela and Robert Ebbs, Cari and Tyler Gill, Charles Huang, Brian Perry, Michelle Wilkenfeld Taylor, and Childen's Museum board member Susan Jhin.
