Pink hair, riding boots, a sexy skirt and a vintage jacket: Power player gives fashion forward new meaning

Vivian Wise bounced into the CultureMap office to drop off press kits for her latest retail endeavor, Velvet Slipper Divine (more on that at a later date) and knocked us out with a fashion approach that she described as “designer schizophrenia.” Never mind that she's been a Stye File subject several times previously. This woman dresses in such interesting fashion that we just can't help ourselves.

Fashion dementia notwithstanding, the combined designer labels she wore on this morning sojourn resulted in an appealing hipster look complimenting her pink coif. Vivian’s riding boots with bows were Valentino, her skirt from Azzedine Alaia, the belt by Billy Reid, her sweater Louis Vuitton and the jacket vintage YSL.

“What’s terrible is that I’m old enough that it’s my own vintage,” she quipped.

Assessing how she put the look together, Vivian declared, “I’m the Sybil version of getting dressed in the morning.”
