What: Talbot Runhof runway show benefiting Circle of Red.
Where: Elizabeth Anthony.
The scoop: Guests got a double runway treat: A full-scale show featuring the 2017 spring collection of the German fashion label designed by Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof plus six guest models — Hallie Vanderhider, Temika Jones, Patricia Hunt-Holmes, Cheryl Byington, Akima Taylor and Dr. Bobbi Bogaeve — who are supporters of the American Heart Association's women's support group. Circle of Red chair Bogaev reminded the crowd that heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, but 80 percent of such illnesses are preventable. Taylor is one such survivor and told her moving story in a passionate way.
The Talbot Runhof collection features satin gowns in jewel tones, body-hugging dresses and such items as a black lurex jumpsuit and a chic black sequin blazer with black pants for women who want to step outside the box a little. Jewelry by Katherine Jetter accesorized several outfits. Jetter was at the store for a trunk show featuring her designs.
Ten percent of the evening's sales were donated to Circle of Red.
Who: Seen in the crowd were Elizabeth Anthony owner Julie Roberts, Jane Wagner, Myrtle Jones, Dawn and Hunter Cornell, Jane DiPaolo, Susan Hansen, Jana Arnoldy, Bobbie Nau, Laura Peckham, Maureen Berry, Tammy Dalton, Dailey Hubbard, Nancy Gutierrez, Leslie Robinett, Dr. Camile Goff-Carroll and Ricky Carroll, Pat Mione, Nahid Talieh, Ramona Rodiguez, Karina Poke, Melody Soto Clark, and Enjoli Walker.
