What: Arian Foster's "Celebrity Servers Charity Dinner" with the Houston Texans.
Where: Morton's The Steakhouse — Galleria.
The 411: Even off the playing field, the Houston Texans regularly display their good sportsmanship. Monday night was no exception when 15 players joined the all-pro running back for the dinner benefiting the Arian Foster Family Foundation. It was beef on the table and beefcake in the room as the players, more adept at handling footballs than dinner plates, playfully served the four-course meal.
With ticket sales and proceeds from silent and live auctions, the evening raised $125,000 for the non-profit that aids families in underserved neighborhoods.
Emcee Sean Pendergast of CBS Sports Radio Houston kept the energy high with the sellout crowd of 150.
Who: Houston Texans joining the party were Brian Cushing, Jadeveon Clowney, DeAndre Hopkins, Duane Brown, Vince Wilfork, Alfred Blue, Jonathan Grimes, Kareem Jackson, Kevin Johnson, Ben Jones, Johnathan Joseph, Shane Lechler, Derek Newton, Cecil Shorts and Nate Washington.
