Home-grown musical talent Steve Tyrell sends CultureMap this swell photo with Prince Charles from a recent command performance he gave at Buckingham Palace in a benefit concert for the Prince of Wales Foundation.

Tyrell was accompanied on the jolly old England jaunt by his steady Janine Sharell, producer of Joan Rivers' Fashion Police.

The concert was held last month, giving Tyrell time to swing back to the States and make a stop in Houston for a stint on HoustonPBS during the station's summer fund drive, which tonight (Thursday) features his "Coming Home" concert at the Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston.

Tyrell has been a busy fellow these last few months, finishing his album of Songs from the Brill Building, which will be released in December to celebrate his 10th anniversary performing at The Carlye during the holiday season.
