Where: FotoFest International.
The 411: More than 200 photography fans attended the opening reception for FotoFest's newest exhibition, I Am A Camera, which focuses on LGBTQ communities and how they are seen by the people within them. Four of the nine artists featured in the exhibition, including Sunil Gupta (India/UK), Paul Mpagi Sepuya (USA), Anna Charlotte Schmid (Germany) and Charan Singh (India), traveled from a far distance to attend the reception.
Following the opening, FotoFest supporters, staff and visiting artists gathered at the Tanglewood-area art-filled home of Eliane Thweatt for an invitation-only dinner.
The exhibit is on display through August 29.
