What: University of St. Thomas "Visions of Grandeur" cocktail reception.

Where: At Earth Meadows, the Carbondale, Colorado home of the Earthman family.

The 411: With magnificent views of the Rocky Mountains and a lakefront setting, Pam and Bruce Earthman (class of 1973) and Leslie and Jack Blanton Jr. welcomed UST supporters to Earth Meadows, the idyllic Rocky Mountain getaway belonging to Houston's venerable Earthman family. UST president Bob Ivany and board member Bert Edmundson led the cheering squad for the university. UST is the first Houston non-profit of the season to extend its friend-raising (no admission) efforts to the fertile philanthropy grounds of Colorado vacation homes.
