What: The Crossroads School gala.

Where: The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa.

The 411: More than 200 supporters of the non-profit school which is dedicated to serving exceptional students with learning differences gathered for an evening of wining, dining and bidding on auction items. The otherwise expected pace of the evening was interrupted by a surprise flash mob performance of dancers who wowed guests with their well-choreographed routine. Leading the charge were emcee KPRC Channel 2 reporter Rachel McNeill and auctioneer Shorty Yeoman. The evening raised $125,000 for the small school that serves 70 students.

Who: Gila Arnoni, Ann and Ed Deery, Raana and Mark Bell, Cindy and Orlando Castaneda, Heather and Steve Newstead, Dena and Brian Miller, Liane and Charles Harrell and Ali and Palwasha Nomani.
