What: I Am Waters fourth annual "Supermodel Luncheon."
Where: River Oaks Country Club.
The 411: More than 250 community leaders and social heavyweights joined I Am Waters founder Elena Davis for the event that raised more than $340,000 for the program that has delivered 2.1 million bottles of water to homeless shelters in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Highlight of the annual luncheon is the coterie of supermodels that fly in to support the effort. This year's contingent was comprised of Vendela Kirsebom, Kelly Emberg, Julie Anderson and Louis Vyent. Add veteran model Tony Spinelli to the mix. NBC News national correspondent Janet Shamlian and Joey Hunter, Modelwire president, served as emcees.
A supermodel star in her own right as a champion of altruism Susan Baker, founding member of the National Alliance to End Homelessness, was honoree. Joining in the program was I Am Waters board chair Jim Pierce.
Who: Gregg Davis, Terri Havens, Maria and Neil Bush, Debbie and John Daugherty, Kathy Goossen, Lynn Wyatt, Diane Lokey Farb, Katherine Murphy, Paige Fertitta, Cathy and Girogio Borlenghi, Jade Ausley and Annette Renaud.
