What: Houston Center for Contemporary Craft "Crafting a Legacy" luncheon.

Where: River Oaks Country Club.

The 411: Jewelry, sculpture and other artwork created by professional artists who show in HCCC's Asher Gallery and resident artists who work in HCCC studios were on display in the silent auction. The creativity was further on display with the table centerpieces which featured floral arrangements by Jonathan Andrew Sage combined with fine craft objects. The event raised $175,000 for the craft center.

Franci Neely chaired the luncheon that honored author and former Houston first lady Andrea White and her husband, former mayor Bill White.
