HCC fashion grad Joi'Zei Reyes designed the dress worn by Sue Sim, who shared the gala chair post with husband Randy Sim.

Mayor Sylvester Turner presented special honors for their support of education to Susan Sarofim, the Individual Crystal Eagle Award, and to Memorial Hermann Health System, the inaugural Corporate Crystal Eagle Award.
