Start planning now to get tickets to the Players’ Wives Fashion Show the next time Houston hosts the Super Bowl. It’s a high-energy ode to style, sisterhood and philanthropy and an all-around good time.

Tootsies rolled out the green carpet Friday for the standing-room-only crowd who gathered to cheer on the NFL players' wives walking in the show and raising money for Covenant House, an organization that provides services to homeless youth.

Covenant House Guild member Mary Eades was named honorary chair of the event and Nina Vaca, chairman and CEO of Pinnacle Group, was given the Woman of Impact Award.

A football field runway lined almost the entire length of the store and featured more than 40 wives of NFL players and models. The party-ready looks drew whoops and applause from the crowd who sang along to the DJ, danced in their chairs and snapped pictures, while sipping champagne.

Runway looks included pieces made for Super Bowl parties and red carpets, as well as a preview of spring styles. The show ended on a sweet note when the player’s wives were escorted back down the runway by their husbands.

Actress Alyssa Milano was a surprise guest at the show, but stopped and took selfies with guests before quietly slipping out. Model Carol Alt was also part of the celebrity scene and she, too, took pictures with fans.

Off the Field Players' Wives Association unites and empowers its members to perform and support philanthropic community initiatives. The group holds its event every year in the Super Bowl host city, and the crowd was full of members, friend and fans.
