Uber stylist Cerón and his partner, Dallas-based party planner Todd Fiscus, who signed on as chairs for this season's series of swank Dress for Dinner fundraisers benefiting Recipe for Success, combined their talents Monday night for a stylish launch at Cerón Hair Studio.
A well-heeled coterie of 150 guests arrived to find the chic salon transformed into a trés chic lounge and the outdoor entry dressed in carpets, posh furnishing, mini-party tents and umbrellas all in a black and white theme accented with armloads of orange and pink roses.
The first on Oct. 23 knocks off our Manolos with the Badgley/Mischka team — designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka — as special guests.
Waiters passed Asian-inspired hors d'oeuvre from Kenichi and Wenge Foods while wine chilled in the ice-filled hair wash bowls and wildly popular Dallas DJ Lucy Wrubel spun the discs.

The Dress for Dinner action moves to Neiman Marcus in March, when that retailer brings in a name designer for a fashion show and dinner, and then changes venues to Tootsies in May for the Fashion Gene Award evening. Tickets are available here.
