There's no such thing as mellowing out for the young professionals that support Camp For All. Having just raised a sizeable wad of cash at its No Barriers Bash two weeks ago, these good-doing go-getters are on to their next volunteer venture.
Such was the chitchat at Tuesday evening's CultureMap Mixers on the Map at BlackFinn American Grille. During the laid-back happy hour, board president Patrick Samuels and board members Natalie Hewitt, Natalie Lee and Jennifer Martin prompted new and current fans to pledge to help at the upcoming Camp Care Day at Camp For All's retreat facility in Brenham, set for Oct. 6.
They will roll up their sleeves and complete service projects, maintain the grounds, paint, assist in the kitchen and work with the campers alongside the nonprofit's staff.

With BlackFinn's sporty fare of flatbreads, chicken tenders, hummus, feta cheese dip and spinach and artichoke dip, in addition to suds and stemware topped with vino, convincing the amicable crowd was child's play.
