Citizens for Animal Protection has big plans underway for its 26th annual Celebrity Paws Gala and chairs Elizabeth Stein, Laura Stein, Bruce Padilla and Shelby Kibodeaux shared a few morsels at Hotel ZaZa on Thursday.
"It's an Urban Jungle Out There," will be the theme of the gala set for Nov. 17 at the Hilton Americas-Houston and big names will preen in the spotlight as the gala's Top Ten Elite. Naming those names was part of the big reveal.
Honorees, who will be accompanied by their pets, are Elizabeth Allen, Nicholas Altman, Jana Fant, Jeff Gremillion, Adrienne Harvey, Meredith Johnson, Kim Padgett, Erin Spencer, Kim and Dan Tutcher and junior honorees Karson Ludwick and Morgan Meynier.
More than 130 partygoers sipped on Bombay Sapphire East cocktails and nibbled on goodies from the Monarch Restaurant kitchen.
Among those making plans for the animal fest were CAP Executive director Kappy Muenzer, Carol and Bill Simmons, Erin Spencer, Kirby Janke, Andy Cordes, Brian Teichman, Shelley and Tracy Ludwick, Beverly Wren, Patti and Don Murphy, Jonathon Glus, Alton LaDay, Matt Johnson and Doris and Roy Hood.
