Young Visionaries, a contingent of social/philanthropic minded young professionals, filled the National Art Services for the third annual "Night Vision 3 — A Festival of Art," benefiting Baylor College of Medicine Teen Health Clinics and the Foundation for Teen Health.
KHOU Channel 11 reporter Courtney Zubowski emceed the evening that featured artist Margaret Dobbins painting an acrylic on canvas while guests looked on. Chairs Beth Bryant, Kathryn Bonner and Stephanie Linder were among those applauding Dobbins and perusing the artworks on display from 12 local artists. A percentage of sales from Dobbins' piece and other artwork sold went to the foundation.
The Garland Trio from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts entertained while guests galloped through the field of food trucks — Eatsie Boys, Ladybird Food Truck and Frosted Betty. There were Lucho cigars to puff thanks to Hector Villarreal and items in the silent auction, assembled by auction chair Leslie Sharp, on which to bid.
The party crowd included Foundation for Teen Health executive director Anne Van Horn, Judge Mike McSpadden, Paul Pettie, Jared Lang, Edward Sanchez, Jonathan Farb, Kristyn and Marty Hogan, Edgar Medina, Audrey and Lee Mitchell, Liz Anders, Brooke and Christopher Reeves, Temple Ramming and Megan Sunday.
