Accidental or carefully orchestrated? The latest promotional photo released by Tina Knowles' people made us think Sophia Loren.
So our intrepid photo editor, Barbara Kuntz, surfed the net and came up with this picture of the '60s Hollywood bombshell that is clearly reminiscent of Knowles. A little more work on Knowles' eye makeup and the resemblance could be remarkable. Even the come-hither pose, reminds us of Loren in some of her earlier movies.
Just as Beyoncé, in certain incarnations, is starting to look more and more like her mother, we think Loren could convincingly play Knowles' mother (or her twin separated at birth and by a few decades).
The Knowles photo was released in conjunction with the June 9 "Sake of Art 2012: A Wearable Art Competition and Fundraiser" to be held in the University Museum at Texas Southern University. The fashion designer will be one of the judges along with Cesar Galindo, Jeffrey Williams and Danielle Burns. Fashion designer Toni Whitaker is coordinating the competition.
