Just in time for weekend revelry: Starting tonight (June19), Whataburger will resume its full breakfast menu from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m., including all menu items with eggs.

As CultureMap reported at the beginning of the month, the restaurant chain with the familiar orange-and-white roof announced it was limiting egg items because of a shortage caused by an outbreak of avian influenza. Due to the shortage, the company had to curtail the hours it served menu items with eggs.

Now some late-night partygoers can end their evening as they have in the past — a real cause for eggs-citement.

For a little over the past two weeks, customers lusting for bacon, egg and cheese taquitos or Breakfast on a Bun had to drop in between 5 a.m. and  9 a.m. during the week and 5 a.m. until 11 a.m. on weekends to satisfy their cravings.

Now some late-night partygoers can end their evening as they have in the past — a real cause for eggs-citement.

After securing additional egg supply, Whataburger is no longer experiencing a shortage, the company said in a press release. "We know it’'s been a tough couple of weeks for our customers, but we’'re really grateful for their support while we worked to build up our egg supply,” " Whataburger chief operating officer Dino Del Nano said. "All of us at Whataburger are so happy to get back to normal and serve our full breakfast menu to customers during our usual breakfast hours from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m.”"
