Gratis sips
You'll want to grab a seat on either of two patios, launching Friday, at River Oaks area’s Bosscat Kitchen + Libations. And what should you have in your hand? The special Cinco de Mayo Mexican-influenced whisky sour ($12) made with bourbon, ancho chile liqueur, fresh citrus, and frothy egg whites. Spicy-good flavors will give you reason to linger, and order seconds, especially since this drink is not only available at the bar all night, but also in free tastings (5-8 pm) provided by a global alcoholic beverages company in a traveling bar trailer parked out front.
