Barcadia, the Houston iteration of the Dallas-based bar cum arcade (see what they did there) on the corner of McGowen and Travis, appears to be closed.

The windows have been papered over for more than a week, and calls to the place's number, the Dallas manager and even to next-door Reef have yielded no insights.

Barcadia opened in December 2010 with good crowds drawn to its giant Jenga, skee ball and assortment of vintage arcade games and appears to have been open through New Year's Eve.
