Want to own a little piece of Houston Texans history? Inside linebacker Brian Cushing has put his 7,000-square-foot Missouri City home on the market, and it could be yours for just $1.3 million.

The 25-year-old football star, his wife Megan and their newborn baby call the Mediterranean-style estate — all five bedrooms and six bathrooms of it — in the gated, master-planned community "home." (Realtor.com first reported on Cushing's real estate move).

"I know it's been difficult on him just like it was for Matt (Schaub) last year, but Cush will be back."

Built in 2007, the lakefront property offers an in-house movie theater with a wet bar, a game room, a media room, a nearly 500-square-foot master bedroom and an attached bath with vaulted ceilings, plus a first-floor veranda and a second-floor covered balcony that overlook the pool, spa and "lake."

Stainless steel appliances, a home automation system and a state-of-the-art security system with surveillance cameras are also included.

As if anticipating the speculation that might arise from the market listing after Cushing's 2012 season was cut short by an ACL injury, the Texans official team website posted a story on Sunday boasting of Cushing's capacity as "a defensive captain, a tenacious leader and relentless playmaker in the middle of Wade Phillips' defense" and looking forward to his return in 2013.

"I know it's been difficult on him just like it was for (quarterback) Matt (Schaub) last year, but Cush will be back. He'll be back better than ever, and we'll be a better team because he's back," Texans coach Gary Kubiak said in his season wrap-up press conference.
