Randy Rucker plans a Tart dinner: A sign of things to come?

According to an unconfirmed rumor from some well-placed sources, Randy Rucker's next restaurant will be in the former Tart Café space inside the revamped 4411 Montrose, home to high-powered art galleries including Barbara Davis Gallery and Wade Wilson Art.

Now Rucker's announcement of a two-night run in the space is sure to fan those flames. As he wrote on Twitter and Facebook:

SAVE THE DATE : 9/13 and 9/14 ill be cooking a two night run at 4411 Montrose.  Menu and other details coming soon..."

The two-night affair will be BYOB but so far Rucker hasn't divulged any other info, like pricing or how to buy tickets.

[Update: More information and tickets are available here for a suggested donation of $85.]

In July Rucker announced he was working on a restaurant called Briar and Bramble, so it's possible that this is a sneak peek into that upcoming concept. For fans who miss Rucker's elevated creations at Bootsie's, a two-night engagement is definitely a good start.
