The third season of MasterChef is nine episodes in, with 11 home cooks remaining: Christine Ha, the 32-year-old graduate student from Houston, is shaping up as a favorite contestant.

Ha has won hearts and competitions since her audition on episode one, when it emerged that she was the first legally blind contestant in the reality TV show's history.

Since then, Ha has consistently performed as well as her sighted counterparts, whether the challenge is baking-oriented or food truck-sized, leading a team or following instructions.

Scott Little, a contestant from Virginia who was eliminated during episode eight, told CarterMatt.com in an exit interview on Monday, "Christine and [contestant Frank Mirando] are two that I am rooting for right now."

Because beyond being the two best cooks remaining in the MasterChef kitchen, both are incredibly likeable.

Ha is hosting an "Ask Me Anything" on her Facebook page over the next several days for fans who have burning questions. Fans can also follow her on Twitter for episode commentary and recaps.

Episode 10 airs on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
