Usually we see local concepts start out in the city center and expand to the suburbs after finding success downtown.

But 1252 Tapas, with locations in The Woodlands and Vintage Park, is changing up expectations, opening a third location of the Spanish-inspired restaurant and bar in Uptown Park. The restaurant is known for its Spanish small plates, paella, imported cheese and meat plates, sangria and global wine list, plus live music and European soccer games

Opening mid-summer, the new 1252 is taking over the former Berripop location near the central Uptown Park façade. It will comprise 2,700 square feet of space, with half of the seating located outside on a covered patio, and will feature the same "rustic-meets-modern" aesthetic as the first two locations.
