Everyone loves to give a gift that’s unique, something that’s not only one-of-a-kind, but expresses a sentiment from the giver to the receiver. But who has the time to hunt across shop after shop after shop to find that special something?

The thoughtful-yet-busy among us will be delighted by the return of DASH.  Design, art, style, home – or DASH – is a one-stop shop for carefully curated pieces that will make individual statements, bringing together the coolest items in antiques, jewelry, clothing, and eclectic pieces in a pop-up market that hits Houston twice a year.

The fall edition launches at Silver Street Studios from November 1 through November 4, and shoppers can treasure hunt for that perfect something for everyone on their holiday shopping lists – and maybe even walk away with something for themselves.

DASH’s founders scoured the markets of Las Vegas and Dallas to bring back the most exciting and interesting accessories, home décor, leather goods, and handcrafted pieces for the Houston market. Expect a selection from local and national dealers, and augment your shopping experience with DIY workshops and even a pop-up fitness class on Sunday, November 4.

There are a host of specialty classes and selections within the shopping hours, including a soap bomb-making class at 3 pm on Saturday, November 3, and a “Make It and Take It” succulent arranging class at 11 am and 1 pm on Saturday. There’s also a “Sweet & Shop” with Define from 10 am to noon on Sunday, November 4, with tickets costing $5. (Email for a reservation.)

More than finding unique items, however, shoppers will be benefitting the work of Dwell with Dignity, an organization that designs and installs home interiors for families in need of an environment that supports wellness. Those who wish to learn more should make it a point to attend DASH’s Dwell with Dignity Happy Hour on Saturday from 4 pm to 6 pm.

The market combines a bunch of things Houston shoppers love: great items, giving to a good cause, and taking part in a must-attend event.
