NEW YORK — Just about every spring 2014 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week ended with a showstopping gown — or several. Here are some favorites that will be in stores after the first of the year or at trunk shows in the next few months:
Color was lacking in many collections, but not at Ralph Lauren. The designer's mod line-up featured glorious shades, like this cobalt blue silk gazaar gown worn by mode-of-moment Karlie Kloss. (Update: Girls co-star Allison Williams wore this gown to the Emmys.)
J. Mendel closed his show with a stunning black graphic lace embroidered gown. It looks even sexier in person.
