While she might be a true blue Houston Texans fan, right down to her red and blue outfits on game days, Laurie Schaub steps out in high style when the occasion merits. Such was the Fresh Faces of Fashion event, sponsored by Houston magazine and held at Tootsies.
As one of 10 women honored on that evening, the wife of Texans quarterback Matt Schaub selected a glam bandage dress by Herve Leger from Tootsies. She completed the outfit with a belt by Lanvin and glittering pumps by Giuseppe Zanotti. As for her jewelry, gifts from hubby, Tiffany & Co. and Zadok were the source, including her Cartier watch.
Discussing her outfit, Laurie emailed, "I love the colors that are in this year for fall— purple, or acai, is one of them and it is a favorite of mine as well. The Herve dress that I wore can be casual or dressy. The bandage dresses are very comfortable! I belted mine with a silver and gold belt to dress it up for the event. My three little daughters clapped when I tried the dress on, so I had to wear it!"
As for those Texans games, "I always wear red and deep steel blue to support the team!" she added. "I love to pair jeans with heels or wedges and my Texans jersey or dressy red and blue blouse."
