Another Easter. Another Bunnies on the Bayou. The 38th edition of the Houston spring holiday tradition drew several thousand partygoers to Fish Plaza outside the Wortham Theater Center.
The gathering, which started with a small group of gay friends in a Montrose apartment complex on Easter Sunday, 1979, has grown into Houston's largest outdoor cocktail party and a major charity fundraiser for LGBTQ nonprofits that draws revelers from across the nation.
All kinds of bunnies showed up for the occasion in their best party attire, which ranged from bare-chested looks to over-the-top Easter bonnets. Photgraphers Dalton DeHart and Edgar Aguilar capture the spirit of the occasion.
Hats off to these fabulously attired bunnies.
