As one of the marquee names at the Winter Olympics, Lindsey Vonn hoped to be on the slopes in Sochi, but a knee injury prevented her from attending. Even so, it was a red letter day for Vonn, who instead turned her attention to a New York Fashion Week runway to raise awareness for preventing heart disease in women.
Wearing a long-sleeve, knee-length dress designed by Cynthia Rowley, Vonn surprised an audience at The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection show when she walked the long runway with crutches as the Kelly Clarkson song, "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger," blared on the loudspeakers. At the end of the show, as other celebrities danced around her, Vonn raised the crutches in triumph.
Here are some other scenes from the show.
