With the success of a public stock offering, Michael Kors is in the pink. He's now a billionaire — or close to it, thanks to last year's record-breaking IPO.

The designer, who has boosted his profile in recent years through appearances as an acerbic judge on Project Runway, is also seeing red, with an advertising campaign that features his spring collection in graphic shapes, bold colors and streamlined silhouettes.

"We wanted the campaign to highlight the crisp, graphic feel of the spring collection in bold California colors," Kors explained in a statement.

Noted photographer Mario Testino, who has worked on the Kors ad campaigns for 10 years, shot the latest series in Los Angeles featuring models Karmen Pedaru and Simon Nessman.

The ads will debut in the February issues of such major fashion magazines as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and W.
