After Andrea Bocelli regaled audiences with soaring arias and love ballads during a Wednesday night performance at the Toyota Center, the world-famous Italian tenor and instrumentalist made another, more discreet stir at Tony's.

A source tells CultureMap that Bocelli enjoyed a late-night dinner with an entourage of nine — including his wife, producer and staff — in the Houston institution's intimate Wine Cellar, where he was "quietly noticed but not bothered."

Restaurateur Tony Vallone himself received Bocelli's order, which included a fitting assortment of pastas, steak, white truffles and Italian cheeses.

Wednesday's performance marked Bocelli's second alongside the Houston Symphony in the span of two years after nearly a decade's absence from the Bayou City. He clearly hasn't forgotten Tony's, though, where he has dined on several occasions in the past.
