CultureMap movie contributor Joe Leydon, who is a dead ringer for fictional detective Sherlock Holmes, and Great Day Houston host Deborah Duncan recently discussed the scariest and "most quotable" Halloween movies of all time.

On their list: Psycho, Halloween, The Exorcist, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Shining, Poltergeist ("They're heeeere"), The Sixth Sense ("I see dead people") and Silence of the Lambs ("I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti") as well as the classic Universal Studios horror movies of the early 1930s, Frankenstein with Boris Karloff and Dracula with Bela Lugosi.
