Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def, aka Dante Terrell Smith) has been making headlines lately with a new name and new outlooks on life and style. He's also surprised some fans with frequent Bayou City appearances.
During a visit to the Houston Museum of Natural Science last week, Mos Def reportedly passed through the new Paleo Hall on his visit and planned to see the Cockrell Butterfly Center. He stirred up excitement along the way, but wouldn't allow fans to snap any photographs.
The Brooklyn-born hip-hop artist, who has been stretching his resume to include television, Broadway and fashion, has also allegedly been spotted at Whole Foods on Kirby and Barnes & Noble on Voss over the past several weeks.
