Lets face it, whether we like to admit it or not, we're constantly searching for any excuse to skip the gym. We all need some extra motivation to sweat and burn those unwanted calories.

It's hard enough to get off the couch and get moving. But good music always helps and goes a long way toward making a workout routine less of a grind.

Stay empowered during a gym session with songs that make you want to move:

1. "Wasted"  — Tiësto

This song not only has an awesome beat, but it will keep you going from its beginning until you are "wasted."

2. "Power" — Kanye West

Kanye will help you the "power" through your workout no matter what. This is perfect if you're lifting weights.

3. "Wild Wild Love ft. G.R.L." — Pitbull

This bubbly song will not only make you smile, but it will also have you singing along. Perfect for the treadmill, the elliptical or the bike.

4. "Wake Me Up" — Avicii

Trying to work out early in the morning before work or late at night after a long day? This song's guaranteed to "wake you up."

5." Run the World (Girls)" — Beyoncé

If you dread cardio, you can "Run the World" with Beyonce for some inspiration. Queen B will have you wishing you were her after the first 30 seconds.

6. "Dark Horse ft. Juicy J" — Katy Perry

We all dream about having Six Pack Abs. This song can get you through those dreadful ab workouts with its fast beat and catchy chorus.

7. "The New Workout Plan" — Kanye West

It's the perfect combination of rap and hip-hop. The constant beat will have you sweating and working harder than you ever imagined.

8. "Burn" — Ellie Goulding

We all want to burn calories after a long weekend of drinking. This tune puts you in the right mindset to "burn" off every last calorie.

9. "Work" — Iggy Azalea

You've made it to the gym and you're ready to get down to business. Iggy Azalea can help you get through your workout with a constant reminder of what you're there to do (Work!)

10. "Pump it"  — The Black Eyed Peas

For some high intensity interval training, this is something to keep one pumped up and energized from start to finish.

11. "Work B**ch" — Britney Spears

This is an all-time favorite. When someone tells you to "Work B**ch", you can't help but start moving faster and faster.

12. "212 ft. Lazy Jay"  — Azealia Banks

This is the perfect hip-hop beat to get you through push-ups, sit-ups and other floor exercises.

13. "All I do Is Win" — DJ Khaled

Confidence is key in any workout. What's better than a constant reminder that you are a winner no matter what?

14. "Maps" — Maroon 5

This will allow you to finish strong with constant intense movement for the entire three-minute length of the song.

15. "Applause" — Lady Gaga

When you're almost done with your workout and you're ready to quit, applause is surely in order.
