"H-Town my second home like I'm James Harden." With as many references by Grammy Award-winning rapper Drake to the Bayou City, it's only right that the artist considers Houston his second home.
The hip-hop artist is hosting his annual Houston Appreciation Weekend across the city this weekend. It began Thursday when he hosted a community barbecue at Emancipation Park and continued at NRG Stadium, where he huddled with Texans star JJ Watt at the big soccer game between Manchester United and Manchester City. Watt participated in the coin toss and Drake brought the game ball out.
Activities on Friday include a Habibiz Hookah Party from 3 - 8 pm at Prospect Park and The Ballet Pop-Up at Mercy Nightclub, hosted by Lil Wayne from 10 pm - 2 am.
