If you or someone you know is always the person asked to bring napkins to a pot luck dinner, you might have a chance at making the second season of the Food Network's hit show Worst Cooks in America.
Houston is one of six cities meriting a casting call, which will take place Sunday, March 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Magnolia Hotel.
(Note to Food Network execs: We didn't spend time as the fattest city in America because we can't cook. It's because we cook too well.)
The handful of kitchen disasters selected will be put, according to the Food Network, "through a culinary boot camp led by two acclaimed chefs to see who can improve the most! At stake for the last two standing is the chance to cook for a panel of esteemed culinary critics and win a grand prize."
Sound good? Applicants and those who nominate them should bring a dish prepared by the wannabe-chef, a written application and a three to five minute home video that shows both your personality and how utterly incompetent you are in the kitchen. Full details are available here.
