Pablo Picasso's colorful Cubist works may be some of the better-known of his long career, but the Spanish artist's use of black, white and grey proved a vehicle to explore new ideas.
The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston showcases more than 100 paintings, sculptures and works on paper in Picasso Black and White, a traveling exhibition on view through May 27.
CultureMap's resident art aficionado Tyler Rudick took KHOU Ch. 11 News to the museum and spoke with MFAH director Gary Tinterow about the importance of the works.
