Watching the Oscar debacle with host Neil Patrick Harris Sunday night, I could only think why don't they let Kevin Hart have a go at it? It would be a hoot to see what he could do on the big stage on Hollywood's biggest night.
Hart may be too busy, however, because his career is red hot. Besides a booming movie career and a hilarious stint as Saturday Night Live host, he will soon embark on a grueling national comedy tour that will continue through the summer. His "What Now? Tour" sold more than a half-million tickets in the first weekend of sales and he is so popular in Houston that a third show has just been added at the massive Toyota Center.
Hart sold out two shows at the downtown arena on Aug. 15; tickets for a third show on Aug. 16 go on sale Friday at 11 a.m. Tickets will be available at houstontoyotacenter.com, livenation.com or by phone at 1-866-4-HOUTIX. Tickets will also be available at most area Randalls' locations.
The tour kicks off in San Antonio on April 9. Before coming to Houston, Hart will perform one show in Dallas on Aug. 14. Hart has already sold out big arena shows in more than 20 markets.
