We've heard tales of people having their cell phones snatched away by thieves, but not laptops — until now.
The KHOU 11 News I-Team reports that thieves recently snatched personal computers from two unsuspecting customers at a northwest Houston Starbucks.
The brazen robbers bolted out of the door with the computers and disappeared across the parking lot.
The Houston Police Department told the KHOU investigative news team that it was the first such computer snatching reported here. But reporters found grab-and-go thieves have stolen computers from coffee house customers in New York, Seattle, Atlanta and Phoenix, where 15 such thefts took place earlier this year.
