The time has come: The Sexational Pam Shaw, a 70-year-old cabaret singer from the United Kingdom, told the Sun that she is now finally ready to lose her virginity.
Shaw has entertained at clubs wearing skimpy costumes since the 1960s, all the while maintaining an old-fashioned "no sex before marriage" mentality.
"My standards are still very high, though," she explained. "I'm hoping to bag a tall, dark and handsome millionaire."
Though Shaw admitted that she's never been short on offers, she hasn't done much more than kissing — even with her erstwhile fiancé, an oil rig worker, who she later realized that she didn't "fancy."
"Now's the time. I'm ready to take the plunge for the right bloke," Shaw, who surely isn't so naïve as to overlook this double entendre, announced to the world.
Shaw appears sprightly and fun despite her age, and she doesn't plan to settle for just any old man.
"My standards are still very high, though," she explained. "I'm hoping to bag a tall, dark and handsome millionaire."
