Whole lotta shakin' going on: University of Texas student video of Harlem Shake goes viral

University of Texas at Austin students are part of one of the larger Harlem Shakes we've seen so far, performing the "dance" on the South Mall of the 40 acres in a video put together by the University Co-Op.

For the unaware, here's a primer to the Harlem Shake, but the main point is that only one person is dancing to a song while everyone else goes about their business ... and then everyone is dancing.

It's the newest Gangnam Style, but mercilessly shorter than all the videos that were overtaking Newsfeeds and Twitter feeds a few months ago. Is it stupid? Oh, very much so, but it's also stupid funny.

The Co-Op has a bit of a history with these videos; the UT Gangnam Style video garnered more than 280,000 views. The Longhorns' take on the Harlem Shake eclipsed that performance. The viral video has 750,000 views and counting.
