So much for a positive start to the new year. Shoppers witnessed a case of post-holiday bargain-hunting turned road rage rampage outside of West Oaks Mall on New Year's Day.
As KHOU reports, both drivers were pulling into the mall parking lot when one vehicle was rear-ended by another. The driver of the first car got out and shot at the second car but missed, instead hitting a third car — apparently driven by an innocent bystander — and blowing out its tires.
Luckily no one was hurt in the incident.
Harris County Sheriff officers arrested the shooter but charges were not immediately filed. The second driver fled the scene before deputies could arrive.
