CultureMap is connecting with a new groundbreaking service which lets readers speak with experts, influentials and difference makers through a specially-designed, state-of-the-art system dubbed TalkWith. The new system lets you interact with the key figure in an intimate, small group phone chat, allowing for direct communication with a mover and shaker.

On Tuesday at 4:30 p.m., you will have the opportunity to speak with CultureMap listings editor/video storyteller/music guru/man about town Joel Luks in a special free TalkWith. He'll discuss the rise of young professionals in Houston, how they are changing the city's social scene, the best and hottest new groups, how you can get involved, mistakes that would-be YP groups have made in the past, etc . . .

"It's a widely known fact that Houston is one of the most philanthropic cities in the country," Luks says. "Getting involved in philanthropy early in your career is important, but the trick is knowing how and with whom."

To reserve a space to speak with Luks in CultureMap's debut TalkWith, simply follow this link, choose the time — Oct. 15 at 4:30 p.m. — and enter your contact information. After that, TalkWith will send you a confirmation email, and shortly before the event you will receive a reminder about the call. At 4:30 on Tuesday, TalkWith will call and connect you into the chat with Luks, giving you the opportunity to talk to him directly about one of the facets that is changing Houston.

Or anything else you want to discuss.
