Tacos A Go-Go — Heights

Open until 2 a.m. on weekends, this hip little taco joint is a popular spot for Houston’s young Heights crowd in search of a little spicy sustenance after hours of drinking and dancing. Satisfying breakfast tacos are served all day long, and quesadillas and the eight varieties of soft and crispy tacos (pollo guisado, barbacoa, and grilled fish are all tasty choices) make up the majority of the menu. Want something more Texas City than Mexico City? The hearty Tex-Mex Frito pie is a good choice, but only for those whose next stop on the agenda is to go straight home to bed … alone.
